My treasure

My treasure is my family. I love my family. My family is six people, my father, my mother, my old brother, my old sister and my young brother. Also, I have two cats. My family is very friendly. My father is sometimes severe but always kind. My mother is fine and sunny but sometimes noisy. My old brother is married and has a daughter. Their family is also our friends. My older sister is college student. She lives by herself in Miyazaki. I and she are good friends. We sometimes go shopping together. My young brother is a high school student. He commutes to the high school that I commuted to. He takes an entrance examination for a college this year. We support his examination.

My family likes to get together so we often gather. We go on a drive, go to eat out and go to travel. When I was child, we went out somewhere every weekend. The memory that I remember most is a travel done by the family. We went to a spa in Oita. We had a very good time. I have never forgotten the memory. I was given a lot of memory by my family. I appreciate them.

Now, I live alone and I know my parent’s importance. I was depending too much on parents. Parents did anything even though my parents were angry with me. My parents understand me. My parents are wonderful. I respect them. I want to become parents like them. They are very loved by us children. And, they also love us. My family is my ideal. I am one in this family, and I think it is very good. I love my brothers and sister for a long time in the future. Of course my parents too. My family is my pride. It is very important that there is a family for me. My family is the best treasure for me.

Advice for writing Ⅲ students

I dropped this class last year. I did not put out the effort. This class has a lot of work so we should regularly do it. Doing it deliberately is important. I did not understand what my writing teacher said. I did not go. I did not know what I should do. I gave up on this writing class. But, new student, listen to me, you should pass this writing class when you are sophomore; otherwise you will have a hard time later.
I will tell about the book review. You should put it on your blog once a week. Book reviews are interesting because the stories are interesting and the study method is good. I have read a lot of books before. It became useless now because I dropped this class but, I started reading more quickly. I was able to read more English books than before. This way is very good. I think that the sense that an English book can be read from the sense of homework is good.
Next, I will tell about the essays. The essays are a little troublesome because it is necessary to type by thinking about the sentence. But, it is really easy. We only have to write our thoughts. I like essay because I can tell everyone my thought about the subject. Though there are a lot of essay, we should do them. It is also important to keep the deadlines.
Finally, I will tell about typing homework. This is something to be done while timed. We should type quickly. This becomes a way to learn how to type English quickly. My typing thanks to this became faster. Also, it progresses fast by doing many times.
Of course, it is the most important to attend this class. You shouldn’t have many absences and listen to what our teacher says. The unit will be able to be gotten if you do this.

My host Family

Hello, my name is Hitomi H. I live in Kumamoto in Japan. I am a university student who goes to university in Kumamoto. I am majoring in English. I am a freshman. I study English every day, and I sometimes study French.

The English class is very interesting every day. I get new knowledge in English class and exploit it in the next English class. My knowledge of English grows every day. The more I understand, the more I like English. On the other hand, French is very difficult. It is very difficult for me. It takes time for me to understand French. I didn’t want to study French again. I only like English and Japanese.

I am spending my campus life usefully and cheerfully. I enjoy talking with my friends in school life and I go to play with my club members after school. Also, I have a part time job. I work at a Yakiniku store. I am satisfied with my life. There are international students at my university. We have the same class once in a while. We speak in English. We speak about the culture of our home country and about our favorites.

I heard about the charm of Australia from an international student in Australia. I went to America last year. I did a homestay a month. This time was very wonderful. I like homestay because we can have a community. I won’t forget this homestay. I was originally interested in America but I was interested in Australia after that. I am very glad to go to study abroad this time in Australia. I know Australia is a great place. I want to see famous kangaroos and koalas. They are very cute. I will be able to have various experiences. I am looking forward to spending a good time with you.
